THE IDEA OF DRG FILMS IS 9 YEARS OLD. WE’VE BEEN WORKING HARD AT IT FOR 6 STRONG ONES. OVER 200 VIDEO PRODUCTIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. It’s been fun, stressful, and exciting all at the same time.

WatchThis concept was meant for another artist using a different television reference. I switched the idea to Shaft because of the 70’s vibe that the song has.
WatchThis song has used one of the greatest rock songs of all time by one of the greatest guitarist of all time (Jimi Hendrix) and transformed it into one of the hardest beats that I’ve heard over the past few years.
WatchOn the production day of shooting “Soundclash” for Those Chosen, we met Melo Kan for the first time. A few months later, we shot this video near the southern area of downtown Los Angeles by all the warehouses and factories.
For having no clouds in the sky, it was really cold on this day (people in LA aren’t used to such weather patterns).

WatchWe just recently screened the documentary “A Love Supreme: U-N-I & Ro Blvd.” in the MGM tower in Century City.
WatchOne thing about these music videos is that there isn’t a common timetable as far as production is concerned. Creativity doesn’t have a set schedule. When you add a budget into the equation, that alters plans too.

WatchWe just completed an Electronic Press Kit for Inglewood-Based artist El Prez. He is a part of the new Hip Hop sound coming out of Los Angeles this year. His latest project is called Perfect Strangers, which is a collaboration effort with Dale Danja. Check for upcoming solo project “Bottles On The White House Lawn” scheduled to drop in late 2009.
